Airtel Uganda has launched its latest internet and mobile packages, Xstream Wireless and Xstream Fiber, specifically designed for business owners.

The new packages combine unlimited internet with mobile data, voice minutes, and SMS, providing an all-in-one solution for businesses.

Airtel’s Xstream Wireless packages are available in three tiers:

  • Wireless Lite: 5GB of mobile data, 100 SMS, 600 on-net voice minutes, and speeds of up to 30Mbps, priced at UGX 160,000.
  • Wireless Power: 15GB of mobile data, 300 SMS, 650 on-net minutes, 250 all-net minutes, and speeds of up to 45Mbps, priced at UGX 200,000.
  • Wireless Pro: 25GB of mobile data, 300 SMS, 550 on-net minutes, 400 all-net minutes, and speeds of up to 60Mbps, priced at UGX 310,000.

The Xstream Fiber packages offer unlimited internet for businesses, with three tiers:

  • Fiber Lite: Speeds of up to 40Mbps, priced at UGX 300,000 per month.
  • Fiber Power: Speeds of up to 100Mbps, priced at UGX 500,000 per month.
  • Fiber Pro: Speeds of up to 300Mbps, priced at UGX 900,000 per month.

Airtel’s Xstream packages differentiate themselves from competitors, such as MTN Uganda, by offering a combination of unlimited internet with mobile data, voice, and SMS.

MTN Uganda’s Wakanet Fiber and Wakanet 5G plans provide high-speed internet but lack the bundled mobile services.

Analysts predict that MTN Uganda may announce similar packages in the coming weeks.

Other internet providers, such as Canal Box, Roke, SprintUG, Savannah Fiber, Simba Fiber, and Zuku, offer competitive packages for home owners and businesses without the voice and SMS bundles.

Airtel Uganda’s Xstream packages are poised to revolutionize the way businesses access internet and mobile services in Uganda.
