The highly anticipated reunion of the Blu*3 trio, comprising Jackie Chandiru, Cindy Sanyu, and Lilian Mbabazi, has sparked excitement among local music enthusiasts, prompting requests for performances across various regions of Uganda. In response, the trio has announced the availability of bookings for shows between July and December 2024.
Last year’s announcement of their reunion sent waves of excitement through the music scene, and their first performance in Kampala only heightened anticipation for more. Initially scheduled for June 22nd, 2024, at the Kampala Sheraton Hotel, their upcoming concert promises to be a grand affair, prompting a temporary halt to prior bookings.
After an impressive 16-year hiatus from the stage, Blu*3 is poised to make a triumphant return to the limelight. Cindy Sanyu expressed the group’s eagerness to relive the magic of performing together, stating, “We owe ourselves the opportunity to experience what it felt like once again.” The trio aims to satisfy their fans’ long-standing desire to see them reunite by embarking on a nationwide tour from July to December.
Currently, the group is diligently rehearsing to ensure a spectacular show for their fans. Lilian Mbabazi shared insights into their preparation process, emphasizing the dedication to perfecting their vocals, choreography, and overall stage presence.
