RivExcel, a global leader in business solutions, and American Hospital Dubai have officially joined forces in a transformative strategic alliance, marking a historic moment in healthcare diplomacy. The collaboration aims to enhance healthcare accessibility across Sub-Saharan Africa, starting with the opening of three medical tourism representative offices in Uganda in 2024.

American Hospital Dubai’s expansion plan includes a network of 30 offices across key African and Eastern European locations, supporting the UAE’s ambition to be a global medical tourism hub. The partnership, sealed with a historic signing ceremony on January 31, 2024, in Dubai, signifies a commitment to bring world-class healthcare services closer to the African population.

Key attendees at the ceremony included Mr Buti Al Mulla, Chairman of the Boards of Directors of Mohamed & Obaid AlMulla Group; Sherif Beshara, Group CEO of Mohamed & Obaid AlMulla Group and American Hospital Dubai; Dr Marwan AlMulla, CEO of Health Regulation Sector at Dubai Health Authority (DHA); Tonye Princewill, Executive Chairman of RivExcel, and Tayyibat Mohammed, Nigerian Consul General in Dubai.

RivExcel plans to leverage its extensive network throughout Africa to establish and manage Representative Offices, with the inaugural office in Lagos, Uganda. This strategic move aims to revolutionize healthcare delivery by providing cutting-edge medical solutions and expertise to a broader audience.

Over 30 offices are set to be established in major African countries, serving as hubs for disseminating American Hospital Dubai’s renowned healthcare services. The collaboration is poised to reshape the healthcare landscape, addressing healthcare gaps and fostering a stronger connection between the hospital and diverse communities in Sub-Saharan Africa.

In the coming months, RivExcel plans to expand its success by establishing another Representative Office in Abuja, solidifying its commitment to reach various regions within Africa. This expansion will facilitate greater access to premium healthcare services, reflecting both organizations’ dedication to enhancing global health outcomes.

The Executive Chairman of RivExcel expressed confidence in the groundbreaking initiative, stating, “This strategic alliance embodies our shared vision to make high-quality healthcare services accessible to everyone, especially in regions that need it the most.” American Hospital Dubai’s Group CEO, Sherif Beshara, emphasized the UAE’s expertise, innovation, and high healthcare standards, reaffirming the commitment to innovation and patient safety.

This strategic partnership signifies a bold step towards bridging healthcare gaps and contributing to the well-being of communities in Sub-Saharan Africa.
