After the launch of the brand-new Corolla Cross Hybrid to the Ugandan market on January 25th, 2024, CFAO Mobility is expanding the hybrid line-up with the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Electric as a strategic move to reinforce Toyota’s commitment to eco-friendly vehicles in Uganda.
Leveraging the success and awareness generated by the Corolla Cross Hybrid campaign, introducing the RAV4 Hybrid will not only offer consumers more options but also further educate and promote hybrid technology in the market. There is planned introduction of more hybrid vehicles which demonstrates a comprehensive approach to sustainable mobility.
The Brand new Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Electric is a crossover SUV designed to greatly stimulate your mind and your curiosity as you enter a whole new realm of crossover-SUV driving. You can expect nothing less than incredible. The time has come to live a life less ordinary and more Extraordinary; a life where incredible becomes standard.
Speed:Â
The vehicle has a maximum speed of 180 kilometers per hour. While maximum speed is not often utilized in everyday driving, it indicates the vehicle’s capability for high-speed travel and overall engine performance.
ENGINE
The Toyota RAV4 Hybrid is powered by an A25A-FXS engine. This engine belongs to Toyota’s Dynamic Force Engine series, known for its efficiency, performance, and reduced emissions. The “A” in the designation indicates a new engine series, while “25” refers to the 2.5-liter displacement. “FXS” denotes the specific hybrid variant of this engine, which is designed to work seamlessly with the hybrid system for optimized fuel efficiency and performance.
The engine has a displacement of 2487 cubic centimeters (2.5 liters). Displacement measures the total volume of all the engine’s cylinders, which directly affects power and torque output. A 2.5-liter engine strikes a balance between fuel efficiency and adequate power for various driving conditions.
Fuel Type: Petrol

The engine also produces a maximum output of 131 kilowatts (approximately 176 horsepower) at 5700 revolutions per minute (rpm). This power output ensures that the vehicle has ample power for acceleration and maintaining high speeds, making it suitable for a variety of driving conditions.
