On Friday, Masaka City was the hub of Entertainment and Politics as Hon Kasolo mobilized, coordinated and organised an event known as the Greater Masaka Bazaar.
The greater Masaka Bazaar took place at the Liberation Square in Masaka and it was General Muhoozi’s first visit in Masaka as the leader of Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU).
The event attracted tens of thousands of PLU supporters who also had musical performances from artistes Eddy Kenzo, Jose Chameleone, Bebe Cool, Vinka, Alien Skin and Mesach Ssemakula among others.
A day after the event, Hon Kasolo gathered coordinators and committee members who had tirelessly worked to make the recent Baraza a resounding triumph. Hon. Kasolo, the orchestrator of this gathering, stood tall, embodying the spirit of leadership and solidarity that had brought them all together.
As the night unfolded, voices rose in gratitude and admiration for the collaborative effort that had made the Baraza possible. RDC Paul Mugume of Kyotera district expressed heartfelt appreciation for the teamwork that had made the event a success, emphasizing the importance of unity in achieving their goals.
Semakula Bashir, the Deputy Regional Coordinator, echoed these sentiments, acknowledging Hon. Kasolo’s wisdom and guidance throughout the mobilization process. The call for a PLU Greater Masaka office reflected their collective vision for a centralized hub of activity and coordination.
Hon. Kasolo, in turn, humbly accepted the praise, recognizing the hard work and dedication of all involved. His words carried weight as he spoke of the significance of their accomplishments and the power of unity in the face of adversity.
But amidst the celebration, there was also a solemn reminder from Hon. Daudi Kabanda about the importance of discipline and allegiance to the principles of PLU, rather than to individuals. This message resonated deeply, emphasizing the need for unwavering commitment to their cause.
